Bavaria 34 access to front stanchions

Having refitted the stanchions aft and mid ship stanchions on a 2002 Bavaria 34 how do you access the front two that sit either side on the fore cabin?

I had to cut into the ceiling a bit to access the bottom bolts. The same went for the cleat bolts. I managed to cut it in such a way that the walls covered up my work.
