Hi there,
I have a problem with my mainsail. The top of the head is a fitting to the mast. Here the sail is held with a bolt. This I probably missing on sailing yesterday. Can someone tell me if there only the bolt is installed, there is a bolt with a hinged nose if there are washers installed please? Maybe someone has a photo?
Ship is a Bav 37CR built in 2006 with conventional Haid sail and normal Selden mast.
Yesterday I fond in my Marina shop a 12mm diameter bolt 26mm lang (1inch?) it fitt fine but like to know the original.
Kind regards from germany

Sorry but confused by your note. I don't think you mean 'sail' held to mast but not sure what you are asking. The sail is removeable and not bolted.

ok, sorry for my pure english, i trie it again.
naturally the sail is removable, I meant the upper part at the top of the main sail. There is a kind of car where the main sail head is fixed to the mast. I fond on selden page that there is a Bolt? with a movable nose?

I have a B37 C 2006 and this is the top of my mainsail - no bolt though  :-\

thanks for the picture, I have an other system build in. In my there is a batten car build in.

Looks like you have a better 'standard' build then  ;D

You need to find the manufacturer of the batten car. Perhaps it is a Selden part. They are sure to have a dealer in Germany - but a good sailmaker will be able to identify what you have.

thanks a lot, I have identified the manufacturer. It is a selden part and I fond a dealer in germany
