Where to place the Bowthruster Joystick

Hi,

I am currently installing a Bowthruster on my Bavaria38 cruiser from year 2008 and I cannot find an appropriate space where to install the Bowthruster joystick on my console.

Does anyone know where the Bavaria factory installs the joystick on Bavaria factory installed Bowthrusters please?

Where did you install yours?
Did you go for a joystick or any other option?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

On my 2012 Bavaria 36 I don't have a joystick but have a port and starboard button to push when required.  The panel which also turns the bow thruster on and off is located in the middle of the console between the Garmin auto pilot and Garmin GM10 display

Same boat (roughly) and it sounds like the same push button set up.  Circular chrome rimmed pad with the usual on and off set up and a red and green arrow to operate.  Mine is on the centre console off to portside.  If the OP doesnt have room for the pad or joy stick, then there are plastic instrument pods that will clamp or attach to various things to create a waterproof box to mount in.  Plenty on google.
