Does anyone know the manufacturer or a manual of the fridge unit in a B39 (2006), fan is not coming on have to give it a tap to move it.

Mine's a Frigoboat by Veco, but that doesn't matter, because it's made entirely from standard parts, those being a Danfoss/Secop BD35 compressor, matching controller from the same manufacturer and the fans are bog standard industrial fans like those used to cool computers. They're widely available and come in standard sizes - either look up the spec of the original fan from the label or just measure the size. Only interesting bit is that they're 24 V fans on a 12 V boat - but as they're hooked up to the fridge controller, it may well be that the voltage is stepped up there (or they simply run slower/quieter).

Excellent thanks, the fan was working perfectly until last weekend and every time I opened the fridge the fan was off, gentle tap and came on so must be sticking, that tells me its meant to be running if it starts with a tap.

Yes, the bearings go on those fans after a couple years, just like the computer ones. Both are cheap and easy to replace.

Nice. There will be a sticker on the other side of the fan with the model and possibly some specifications.

Mia, do you mean the little fan inside the cooling plate in the fridge.

That's the one I thought he meant.  It's probably still something like a computer fan and should be easy to replace (or maybe lubricate).

MIA

Yes it's the small fan inside, I'll strip the controller down and test the fan, just didn't know who the manufacturer was.

Thanks
