Hi all.
Have possibility to change old mainsail track to a new one from Harken.
And have no idea how to get to the bolts which are located as I understand between the deck and ceiling.
There is no screw no white caps (as I found some manual on the internet) nothing. Just solid plastic ceiling for all cabin?

Maybe someone have some photos of this process or maybe you know some other website where this manual could be find.
This question will also be actual for rope clutches changing. The plate under them are also located between deck and ceiling.
Many thanks for any support.

Think you will find that the screws go into tapped aluminium plates bonded into the coachroof, so they just unscrew. There are no nuts. Bit of a problem if the fastenings of your new track do not line up with the old ones.

Thanks,
So may be here we can list some known alternative for an old one ram jam.
I had a reply from Rutgerson manager about that:
QuoteI see you have the old ram jam mounted on the boat, year -99 was the last year this clutches was produced,
After that we had the RC750, and now the latest version RC 75X
There is a slight difference in hole spacing between the clutch you have mounted today.
The NEW RC75 X. has 79mm hole spacing. The clutches exists in single, double, triple and quintuple.
So this is not an alternative for us.
Maybe someone know what is ram jam hole spacing and what we could use to replace them?
Regards

Just in case there has been some progress in your research/replacement.
I got the following answer from Rutgerson : "The Ram Jam from Rutgerson has a overall measurement of 120mm x42 mm and the hole space is 88mm".
Did you manage to change them? If yes, how, which new clutch?
