Like a previous post in 2014, I have a 2014 37 cruiser,.
We had a few initial niggles with electrics (Garmin vhf radio failure, wind sensor failure) all fixed quickly by replacing the units. The nice twin helm bosses also needed replacing due to a warranty issue with paint bubbling off.

We have had an ongoing issue with a leak, from an area above the nav table (we have the 2 cabin version)
While our selling agent has been quick at trying to fix this, we still have a fairly major water ingress when it rains, that goes inside our lockers above the nav table, ruining anything inside, as well as into the area below the nav seat. It seems to have got worse since the boat has been taken out of the water for antifouling. The leak appears to be from the vent opening here, but as it also appears in the locker, it could come from somewhere else on the coachroof.

While still under warranty (just) this is being continuously investigated, but where do we stand with Bavaria themselves, if this can not be fixed?

It is spoiling the whole ownership of the boat, which we otherwise love.

Genoa car track, through bolts, notorious for this, needs removing and re bedding,  don't let them put gunge in to stop it. Make sure they remove it.

Don't think the genoa tracks are anywhere near that area on this model, but on the coachroof.

Problem with rain water leaks is that they can be quite remote from where the water actually ends up. However,  the only things that pierce the decks around there are the stanchion bases which have just one bolt each through the deck and are a common source of leaks.

Suggest you look at the Consumer Rights Act of 2015, http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act  which will give you some guidance on this issue.
Essentially if you bought the boat new within the United Kingdom, your contract is with the seller, ie Clipper or one of their sub agents, and not with Bavaria. Clipper may try to fob you off, but do not be miss lead by them. Ensure that you keep a record of every communication you have with them, letter, emails, fax or telephone including dates, times and with whom you spoke. Ensure that in the first place you have ideally a formal letter outlining the problem, telling them that you are claiming under the warranty, detailing any consequent damage, and send it to them by registered post and before your warranty expires so that you have a record that the letter was received.
From other posts within this site you will see that others have had the most almighty fights with Clipper in order to get warranty claims dealt with, so roll up your sleeves and get ready for it. Good luck.

To be honest we have had nothing  but extremely good and quick service from Clipper, especially Richard, who have dealt with each claim without fuss.
So far the list is:- new companion way doors, new cockpit table top, new opener in side coachroof window, new Garmin VHF radio, Handset, wind sensor.....(Garmin were not very helpful), various small leaks fixed, all coachroof fitting re sealed.
Today, James from Clipper turned up as promised, and we finally found the main culprit for the leak in the port side coach windows...not the openers, but the large picture windows, where the seal of mastic around the window has failed. This is apparently a known issue with Bavaria, and I note in other areas that the new designed boats with frameless windows are having an issue due to the flexing of the area where the window is fitted.
Anyway, fingers crossed our leak is fixed now, but as stated, fair play to Clipper and a thank you for their efficient service to date.
If the windows leak again......that will be another matter!!!

So the issue is back, same window, same side.

Has anyone else with the 2013 or 14 Bavaria with these stuck in windows having the same problem?

Last time, they raked out all the sealant in one part of the window and replaced. But I think a new window needed. Its a big job....the windows are huge, and just stuck in place!!! >:(
