On my Bavaria 32 (2004) I have a shore power (230v) panel, model number ESW202.
When shore power is connected am I correct in thinking that the green light should illuminate?
Mine doesn't, but I still have power to the sockets and charger so I need to replace this light.
The only markings on the light are 240v T150.
Any ideas where I might get one?

I have tried all the usual places like Clipper (Bavaria dealers), chandlers and electrical outlets, but no success.

Thanks

If your sockets work, why bother replacing the light?  On my Cruiser 37, the mains panel is buried out of sight under the chart table, so any light on it can't be seen easily.  If the sockets stop working, I know there's a problem.

Presumably a neon. Can you take a picture front and back. Also measure hole diameter.

I think it is LED. The light unit is one piece and just slides into the hole on the panel and then connected to 2 cables. The hole diameter is 7 or 8 mm.

Although there are LED indicators for AC circuits, typically the led itself can be seen and there is no plastic cover.
I would go with Nigel's assumption that this is a neon light or an incandescent light.

Nevertheless in this case the exact type is not crucial, so try looking at online sources for electronic parts (RS, Mouser, Farnell, Digikey) - search for panel mount light indicators and pick something of the right diameter (and voltage) - there are snap type like the one you show and there is the type with a locking nut.
Also any store for industrial instrumentation should have such.

Thank you for all your replies. With your guidance I have managed to track down the identical light.
If anyone is interested I sourced it from Catering Parts UK on Ebay.

CPUK Part Number: NE15 NE16 NE17 NEON INDICATOR LIGHT LAMP

This fixed price listing is for 1 x Neon Indicator - Choose from Red, Amber or green as shown in the item picture below.

This fixed price listing is for one 230 volt neon indicator, these high temperature neon lamp indicators require a 10mm panel mounting hole, the lens is approx 13mm diameter and is a push fit type. Approx 52mm long with 6.3mm push fit standard spade connectors. Used by various manufacturers these are a very good universal part. Just a comment and  a worfd of caution --- A neon is a 230v component. I may be wrong but think it unlikely it is a Led indicator on the mains side.
Just in case it goes up in a puff of smoke and does more damage.

Jackho,

You are correct. I wrongly said LED by mistake.
I have managed to find a 230v green neon light from a catering company and when it arrived it was identical in every way to my original.

Thanks

Anthony

I have observed that the shore power indicator is a bit dim in bright daylight. I always check for power by momentarily turning on the shore power water heater; it is very much brighter and therefore easier to check
