Volvo D2-40 and Perkins

There is actually a plate on my D2-40 engine showing that it is  a Perkins 404C-15. As someone has previously noted these are Perkins Shibaura units, check your engine and you may well find such a plate. After that get your parts from a Perkins dealer, I have used 'parts4engines' with great success my latest being a fuel pump at 30% of the Volvo price. mind you I am still looking for a replacement air filter which will not increase the noise levels, any suggestions
